Description

REDUCED PRICE FOR QUICK SALE-1,664 sq. ft. Home --All APPLIANCES--WHOLE HOUSE GENERATOR--NEW HVAC AND HOT WATER- Please call the owner at either 910-329-4522 and if no response call 910-581-4302 if interested. House for sale on almost 2 acres. I have a beautiful 3 to 4 bedroom home with 2 complete baths for sale in Surf City, NC but just across the street from the city limits which means no city taxes. This amazing home sits on 1.8+/- acres in a secluded site on a quiet hard surfaced street. This home was built to ocean front standards with 2x6 wall joist and stainless steel rods on 16 inch centers. Another fantastic feature not found on many homes in this area is a whole house generator that automatically comes on within seconds of a power outage. I just installed a totally new TRANE heating and cooling system @$7000 and a new hot water system. In the kitchen there are granite counters and stainless steel appliances all purchased within the last 18 months. As you walk in the front door you enter a huge great room with a beautiful thermostatically controlled gas fireplace that faces out 6 patio doors leading to the back patio and fenced in huge backyard. The yard is full of apple, pear, peach ,nectarine, figs and cranberry trees. On the property there is a large detached garage with a huge workshop and an attached huge 2car carport. Also there is and insulated wired heated and cooled game room with hardwood floors behind the garage and an attached large storage shed with concrete floor. Behind the game room sits a small boat house. There is another art shop just off the huge concrete back patio and it is also insulated, wired with air conditioning and heat. This house is built to withstand whatever mother nature throws at it and it is not in a flood zone and a fire hydrant is located just across the street in front of the house. I purchased this home in 2004 and have loved living here but now that I'm older and in failing health it's time to sell and downsize. I am talking with a realtor and might list it soon if I can't sell as owner. I have not had the time or energy to stage the home to make it look all fresh and neat but if you have a sense of how it could look with your décor, I know you will fall in love with it as I did back in 2004. Also, this property is only going to increase in value in that it is only 2 minutes from the beaches of Topsail Island and there is both a middle and elementary school going to be built by Pender county within just a few blocks of this property. Another option that might be available it to have it dual zoned in case you wanted to start a business here---there's plenty of land. Most homes in this area going for this price are only on a 1/4 acre lot with neighbors right on top of you. I have planted many fruit bearing trees that are now producing and I've established a very productive organic garden where I grow all the vegetables i eat. Also, being this close to the ocean and waterway gives me plenty of opportunities to catch all the flounder, trout and drum that me and my friends can eat. In my garage I am leaving a like new, radial arm saw, drill press, table saw and air compressor and work benches for anyone inclined to be creative or constructive. Because of my age and health status, I now have come to the realization that I need to downsize to something much smaller and that is the only reason I am hoping to sell to someone who will love them as I have. If interested please call me at the number I've included in the reply box. Thanks for your time.

"Turtle Creek is a wonderful place to live. Very quiite neighborhood with excellent neighbors. Developement always has activitys for the kids. If you are looking for a family friendly neighborhood this is the place to be in an excellent school district. "
  • Patnystrom
"Living in Hampstead feels like living in a small friendly town of 60 years ago; people wave and speak, even to strangers, and help each other in times of need. The weather is influenced by the Gulf Stream, so it's always cooler (or warmer) than in nearby inland communities. While it is quiet here, there is plenty to do, especially if you like water activities, and both Wilmington and Raleigh have a lot to offer in terms of culture, concerts, and night life."
  • Leo U.
"I have no idea what this post is referring too. I have lived in Hampstead Pines since the beginning. No through streets lots of Cul-de-sac streets for the kids to ride bikes, play basketball safely! Great location to Wilmington and Jacksonville and Topsail Schools is one of the best in NC."
  • Melanie b.
"Hampstead is desirable for excellent schools, healthy lifestyles with fishing, boating, golf, tennis, surfing, kayaking, swimming, kids sports leagues, gardening. Laid back living."
  • Envisiondecor
