10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a true gem school which a simple average rating by anonymous reviewers would do its just. Talk to principals and teachers during open houses. Check out facilities, academics (rich AP courses), extra-curricular activities (athletics, science/social clubs), student emotional health and holistic development, families/parents support network and college matriculation, and you'll find out why NCHS is the premier public high school in CT.Parent Review2y ago13 Reviews - Saxe Middle School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWorst school in the state of Connecticut, guaranteed. I wouldn’t send my future kids here. I strongly recommend never to consider this bad school. The administrators are maniacal and are out to bring you down personally.Other Review10mo ago11 Reviews - South School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHaving moved to South School when our daughter was in 1st grade, we have the experience at another local school (in a neighboring town) to compare to. Our daughter (now in 5th) flourished at South and when we recognized there were challenges, the entire administration came together to work on helping us to identify and then create a plan that best suited her, as an individual. The attention and care she received was absolutely remarkable, despite being an excellent student already. Our son (now in 2nd) continues to blossom at South also (has been there since K) and the teachers, staff and administration truly cares about each and every student and helping to guide them to be their best selves, while continually being challenged academically. South School is about educating the ENTIRE child, and the curriculum is extremely well-balanced, with as much emphasis and focus on the arts as in reading, mathematics and traditional STEM focus. The administration is easily accessible and open to parent ideas and involvement and do an incredible job of creating a true family and community among South students. The school culture is welcoming to ALL students - regardless of background, race, economic status, religion, etc and does an extraordinary job of highlighting what makes each of us unique. We are so grateful to have found such an incredible community for our children to grow as individuals and thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Would highly recommend South School to anyone!Parent Review4y ago8 Reviews - Check out schools near 6 Gray Squirrel Dr.
