Super clean (never a Smoker, cat, or dog) and newer stand alone apartment, above a shop, with an open floor plan, located at the end of a one mile roadway/driveway and next to Rock Lake (1 minute easy walk). There are two other separate and quiet rentals on this property. This unit is above a garage / shop. Garage / shop is NOT included. There is lots of privacy, hundreds of private (mostly U.S.F.S.) forested acres off your back raised deck. A 1.5 mile walk and you can see four wildlife lakes (Rock Lake, Lost Lake, Timber Lake, Long Lake & Frank Lake (Frank is a bit further)). An All Wheel drive vehicle is recommended as, even though well maintained, the roadway is graveled and on the steep side (never been a real issue, but had to mention it). There is parking for one vehicle. A second space may be available. The parking is outside with no cover.
Rent includes the utilities; High Speed Fiber based Internet, Power, Gas, Water, & Sewer. The last tenant worked from home. WiFi is reported to be 60 Mbps down and 57 Mbps up (whatever that means). Also, the roadway is first on the list to be plowed and sanded. Both are done as needed. The road is generally in good condition as it is well maintained. This is a great place to work from home or a 15 minute commute to town.
The apartment includes a clothes washer & dryer, full size propane gas stove and full size refrigerator, 3/4 bathroom (shower only), 40 gallon water heater, private raised deck, cafe style breakfast nook, kitchen, living room and separate, but open, bedroom area. Granite type counters, hickory cabinets, hard tile, and hardwood floors. Lots of natural lighting and ventilation. Electric heat. The deck is private. You really have to look to see anything but an open forest. There is a small view of the lake.
The downstairs garage is used by the property owner for maintenance and repairs. It is, occasionally, used when needed. Only during normal daytime hours. There is seldomly any real noise to the upstairs unit. All that said, it is generally used for storage.
Over all this is a mostly private, reduced stress, and quiet place to be. Very responsive and professional Property Management. Other nearby tenants are rarely seen, heard and are, in general, great.
The listing indicates a 6 month lease. It would then turn to a month to month. As this is a rental property, a longer lease can be available. We prefer annual leases starting in the Spring.
There will be a Background Check made. References, Credit , and Employment will be checked. There will also be a phone type interview. A current Credit Bureau will be required with a complete application.
We can also provide a successful applicant with references from past and current residents. Please inquire for details.
