"Short commute if you live in town. The commute can be long depending on where you work. When you do commute, the views are amazing. Much better than my commute in the concrete-filled city. "
  • Kelly M Eisenzopf
"Small vacation town at Lake Tahoe. Everyone here loves and appreciates nature. It can be very busy in summer and peak ski times but beautiful year round. "
  • Ktbiehl
"Would like walking and hiking trails . Would not like coyotes and bears. Would not like that beaches are not dog friendly "
  • CaVargas
"Incline Village is a small, outdoor activity packed, private town on the beautiful north shore of Lake Tahoe. Just over the CA-NV state line (crystal bay) you stay straight and drive down into a gorgeous, large cove that also has several, year around, natural streams that run directly into Lake Tahoe. A place for people who LOVE the outdoors!"
  • Trulia User
"It’s a ski town that is now over run with people from the Bay Area. There are not a lot of community events."
  • Trulia User
"It’s very safe. It’s a small town so everyone knows each other. It’s very quiet and friendly so no loud music. Kids and dogs are very common around this area "
  • Russellgarrigan
"Private Lake Tahoe community. It is the largest private option in the area and has the most exclusive beach front "
  • Rebrunning
"Lots of people walk their dogs off leash. It’s a better place for larger dogs than smaller dogs because of the wild life. "
  • Joseph H.
"Lots of community events such as the beach and the entire lake! A great place to live, anyone who leaves always wants to come back"
  • Jessica S.
"character charm and lots of friendly people with tons of rural suburban class plus the trees and foliage are acceptable especially during the fall and lots of wildlife and pollen n the spring and summer which is only mildly irritating"
  • Kari F.
"Incline is a great place to raise kids. So many opportunities for active outdoor activities and fun! Diamond Peak and the private beaches make Incline the perfect playground in any season. "
  • Awitney5050
"There are not a whole lot of kids in the neighborhood. Half of the homes are vacation rentals. Not a whole lot for kids to do in the area"
  • Trulia User
"Dogs are certainly welcome and there are many places within the neighborhood that are great for taking a dog on a walk. However, owners of small dogs should be especially aware of coyotes while walking their dogs."
  • SuzyO
"This is a resort/college town on Lake Tahoe. Less touristy than nearby towns. Affordable stores, including grocery."
  • Mike b.
"4th of July and summer concert series. Sports events and skiing. Casino and restaurants. Great outdoors."
  • Ryan H.
"It’s amazing. Quiet mountain town that has the feel of mid 20th America. Everyone on your street is a neighbor. "
  • Kim
"Tahoe is the most beautiful and peaceful place to live. The lake is crystal clear and pure. Lots of outdoor activities."
  • Marian
"If you haven't been to N. Lake Tahoe, come visit and consider making it your home... it's an amazing escape with unbelievable natural beauty all the outdoor activities you can imagine!"
  • Georgia C.
"This is a beautiful area in Incline Village, Nevada located right across from the Diamond Peak Ski Resort. Spectacular views, close to local dining, beaches, golf, community center and shopping. The area is quiet, clean and friendly."
