2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageColon Elementary is horrible for any child that has special needs, they have no idea how to teach or handle and child with behavioral or emotional special needs. I had to get a state advocate to get anything done for my one son. Bullying is allowed to go on with excuses such as "we talked to him". Well if talking doesn't work there should be some form of punishment. My older elementary child is requesting to be school of choices out of the district due to the bullying and my other child is already out of district to be in a school that can teach and deal with special needs. A new pretty school matters not at all if the teachers and principal don't care at all!!!!!Parent Review9y ago - Colon High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a student here and I have to say that I haven't been completely happy with what I have had to go through with this school. The office faculty and leadership isn't very professional. I have had numerous problems with communication with the office workers. I also seem to have problems with my schedule every year. Some of the workers are condescending. The school work isn't very hard and I have heard a lot of people say they go to college unprepared. On the brighter side, the school has just been renovated, so the building is very nice and also, the teachers are really nice.
