Details:
I am renting one bedroom and bathroom in my home on a work exchange basis to help with minor chores around the home. You would have full access to the common areas (living, guest bath, den, kitchen and backyard) in addition to the private room and bathroom. There is a small dog and 4 cats that currently reside in the home but are very kind and easy going.

We would establish an agreed upon hourly rate ($20 $30/hr.) for any chores that the renter completes, which would could go towards the monthly rent. The renter would be required to track their hours and projects they do each month. If the work you complete exceeds the rent amount, then I will pay the renter the difference. Some of the required and optional chores are listed below include:
Required
Walking the small dog 3x a week (she only needs a short 15 30-minute walk around the neighborhood)
Watering the front yard and back yard every 2 3 days
Help taking returns to UPS (probably about 2 times a month)
Grocery shopping
Vacuuming 2x a week upstairs and downstairs
Taking out the trash
Optional
General cleaning (countertops, dusting, stove, etc.)
Meal prep

We have community Farmers Market by the Walgreens Drug Store in town each week. BBQ and food tasting events in town by the Theaters. Several events each year are held at the Jurupa Valley Community Center a few blocks away. Skating boarding and youth sports are held there as well. "
