"Neighborhood is good but still be aware especially making sure your kids stuff is in the backyard or in the garage at night due to people who stroll by to steal kids bikes . But other then that neighborhood is good an safe "

"I have not come across any, so far I know my neighbors are nosy as they have called my landlord and complained about things in MY front yard. "
  • Carrie W.
"I've lived here 12 years, I know all my neighbors and we help one another all the time. It's a great location to downtown, all the major highways, and the military bases. The schools aren't the greatest so be prepared. "
  • cw
"We don't really have any. The park is nice and the pavilion. Someone stole one of the picnic tables. "
  • Ilianamaritza75
"They can walk their dogs in this community they should just make sure to follow the leash law or any laws that govern the subdivision and be respectful to their neighbors "
  • Psgjaramillo
"It’s a horrible neighborhood. Needles to say it’s well known as gunrise. There are always shootouts and when you report or call the police they either take their sweet time coming, don’t come or tell you it’s not their jurisdiction."
  • phoenix_five
"I've lived here for nearly a year now and I love it! The neighbors are very friendly, helpful and courteous. Everyone watches out for each other (eyes on strangers in the neighborhood all the time) and we all talk with each other over our fences, hedges etc. There is a good mix of all kinds of people of all ages in this area and it's a great place to raise children. The little amount of traffic that does take place is not at break-neck speeds. Children down the street from me have their basketball hoop set up at the base of their driveway (in order to use the level street as a half-court) and nobody has been hurt since I've been here. If you're looking for a great place, at a comfortable mortgage, then Sunrise is the place to live."
  • Rolanda H.
"This is the worse place ever. I was robbed twice! Stay away!!!!!!"
  • Andie C.
"We've moved here a year ago to make the most of the real estate market. Most of our friends and family warned us against 'Sunrise' but after taking a good hard look at the area we couldn't find any truth to the myth, Sunrise is not what is used to be 15 or 20 years ago - it's now a safe place to raise a family. Ever since we moved we've been enjoying a peaceful neighborhood, very quiet, charming neighbors, close-by quality stores and easy access to 410 and I10. All in all we're very happy about our decision and our buying this house was one of the best decisions we've made."
