"it seems everyone hear has dogs. A lot of neighborhoods don't have side walks. Their is every type of business, restaurant and entertainment you would find in a major city. We are 35 to 40 minutes from New Orleans without having. to deal with the crime in New Orleans. We are 7 miles from the Mississippi border. The Mississippi Gulf coast is about 25 to 30 minutes away. There is entertainment to fit any budget from a variety of Hotels and Casino's to prestin beaches. "

"i drive an hour each day to get to work in Taft. Metarie is the worst part of the drive, but the commute thru the city over the high rise can be a real pain."
