About this House

This is an opportunity to live in a comfortable furnished room in our private home located in a nice, safe neighborhood near Cal State Long Beach. The room renter will receive:
Large Master Bedroom furnished with a queen-size bed, desk, dresser, night stand and closet. The bedroom is 11 x 12 feet, which equals 132 square feet.
Large bathroom with bathtub/shower. (Shared only when we have guests. Most of the time it will be for your private use.)
Shared use of kitchen for storage and cooking.
Shared use of washing machine and dryer.
No extra fees for electricity, trash pickup, or other utility services.
Limited storage space in garage.
Access to Internet through Frontier broadband router (must use your own computer and have WiFi connection); no extra fee.
Parking on the street, in front of or near our house.
We are looking for a for a quiet, serious college student or someone working in a job nearby who is able to speak and understand English fluently. This individual will be a responsible roommate, and will live in the master bedroom of our 3 bedroom private residential home. NOTE: NO SMOKING will be tolerated anywhere in, on, or near our residence. NO DRUGS or excessive drinking and partying will be tolerated.

Except as prohibited by law, this agreement may be terminated by Landlord or Tenant and may be modified by Landlord, by giving 30-days' notice to the other. On signing the agreement, the Tenant will pay a $400 security deposit in addition to the first rent payment. This security deposit will cover the cost to repair any damage caused by the Tenant during the Tenants' residency in the house. If there are no damages during the residency, the $400 will be returned to the Tenant.
