As a new family in the Pioneer Valley Regional School system, we’ve truly enjoyed our first year at the high school. We’ve been especially impressed by how supportive and dedicated the teachers are, as well as the strong sense of community among the students. It’s clear that students genuinely encourage and look out for one another.Although it’s a smaller school, our daughter has already had access to many new opportunities that weren’t available to her before—and she’s only just begun to explore everything the school has to offer. The range of programs and activities is impressive, and there is clearly something for every student to get involved in.We’re excited to see the school continue to grow and evolve. It feels like the school is in a positive period of renewal, and the overall atmosphere is upbeat and encouraging. While Pioneer Valley has built a strong reputation for its athletic programs in recent years, it’s equally wonderful to see the flourishing arts, music, and theater programs, all of which appear to be well supported by the administration.

My children both went to NES kindergarten through 6th grade. They had caring, intelligent, supportive, and respectful teachers. Mrs. Johnson, Ms. Kitfield, Ashley, Mrs. Miner and Mr Lubrey to name a few. My children had an excellent education and did very well on standardized tests. I was involved in the PTO for a short time too. This school provides a loving environment where children can thrive.
