Not a great school. Restrictive rules, bad bulling problem. My harassment was only solved after i reminded them it was technically a hate crime.

A quiet powerhouse in the state, Ensign is a fabulous resource for the community. Rated Exemplary for many years by the state, and a standout in the city. This small school inspires loyalty and dedication from families as it inspires and provides personalized instruction and care to students. We can’t say enough about how valuable the educators at Ensign have been in our children’s lives.

There is no policy that will make students go to class in place. My daughter learned early on how easy it is to sluff... Yes we had discussions... but kids are sluffing and walking around the school during class and nothing is being done about it. My daughter has been in trouble because of the teachers lack of getting assignments graded on time. Poor communication between parents and teachers as they never email you back about student progress or anything else. Fighting is always happening, and I feel a big part of that is because these kids are not going to class, nor are they being forced to.

My experience at Innovations Early college isn't the best but i got to live through it. One of the best parts is the freedom we get to work at our own pace. We have our own independent study time that lets catch up if were behind. I would say that the teaching style is not what people would like. For ex in math class , were assigned patterns to do the classwork. Isn't the teacher supposed to explain the lesson. That would be much better and i bet we would also learn better. Science is great. English in also great. But history , like what's even the point of having history class without a teacher teaching. They just make us read alone and do our work alone. C'mon guys! it feels too independent, and if you fall behind it can be hard to catch up. I also wish there were more fun activities and classes, like sports or clubs, so students could connect outside of class. . Having more fun activities would help everyone connect and feel more excited about coming to school. Overall its a 3.5-4/10.
