"We moved here to Brighton almost five years ago. Its a quiet neighborhood with very good people living here. We like that the HOA is not required and is only $45 a year and has regular meetings. People pick up after themselves as well. There are a lot of senior adults."
  • Nancy Brown

"Neighborhoods offer many places for children to play, along with protection and security. As one of the biggest benefits of living in a neighborhood, they create a memorable area for children to grow up in. "
  • Camlaowens

"Downtown is a short walk away from the neighborhood. Super easy and will be better maintained soon now that the city is investing more money in the area. "
  • Trulia User
"Not too long. Downtown seems nice, clean and safe. Every since it’s been gentrified, which I guess was the entire point. "
  • Trulia User
"It’s a very nice area I like going to places around there. they are building up around there as well."
  • Granola97
"Friendly neighbors with dogs & not many stray dogs around. Some people don’t appreciate leash laws being in place. "
  • David P.
"We have a small dog park in the neighborhood. We have good sidewalks. There’s a large multipurpose field maintained by the HOA that many residents use for free-running their dogs. "
  • Tsuttles24
"Awesome community ten minutes away from all shopping centers local malls gas stations ice cream shops we in the heart of everything "
  • Vonomecia J.
"Some complain about barking at night. Some will call the dog pound over excessive barking. Other than that no one says anything. "
  • Scott C.
"Forest Hills is located in mid Town. It is a large neighborhood near interstates, main hiways and roads. 15 mins to the mall, 6 mins for Gunter AFB, 15 mins to Maxwell AFB and downtown. There is plenty of shopping and grocery stores in walking distance and also a bus stop. As is common in cities now there are occasion shots heard and break-ins. Thugs are everywhere tho and its no worse than anywhere else in Montgomery. It is nice to feel like you in a wooded community and be really in the midst of town. I like the neighborhood!"
  • Lafayette A. A. W.

"People not picking up after their dogs. People letting f their dogs just run wild. Most dogs are friendly. There is a pet store right off the highway "
  • Julesmaddy1

  • Karen W.
"We have 2 Military bases Private schools are better than the public system!!! East side of town is much better than the rest with shopping, housing. Two good hospitals. "
  • Sekeenab
