Though the transportation and school administration is something that is questionable, they are still old school in terms of accepting new ideas/suggestion from parents and are not very open minded. School Board members to get more active in the administration of this school. A must to find more details with transportation department when buying a house around this area.

"There are a few public parks which although not large, could be a good space to let your dog run around and get some exercise and play with his owners. There are also people who like to ride their horses in this area."

"15 minutes. Can’t be any better. The only traffic is a school bus or tractor once in awhile slows me down. I pass many farms. "

"Rare combination of rural solitude with friendly neighbors, wild animals, and horse farms exist on our road. We have lived in Tewksbury Twp for 15 years and faced with the choice of retiring to Florida or staying in Tewksbury, we decided to live in Tewksbury forever, because one can always visit Florida. "

"I have lived in Tewksbury Township for 15 years and unlike other areas that become more developed and populated every year, Tewksbury is noted for having preserved its farms, clean streams, and its rural nature that extends a history that began in the colonial era. "

"I have lived in the area for 18 years. The Califon area is rich in history, and has many conveniences. It is a safe, quiet community that is ideal for raising a family as it has excellent schools. In the immediate area you can grocery shop, bank, go to one of several wonderful restaurants, there are two liquor stores, 4 pizza shops, a jeweler, a health food store, yoga studio, accountants, lawyers, insurance agents, two hair and nail salons, a place for martial arts, a butcher shop, a spa, a lumber and hardware store, a consignment shop, a thrift shop and art shop, a landscaping/ farmers market, a commercial fruit orchard, two cleaners, a pet grooming shop, a pet store, a drug store, artisans and craftsmen and more. And all this set in a picturesque tranquil countryside with parks and trails. What more could you want?"
