2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExcellent experience in this school, the safety, the caring for our students, regardless of their financial status and ethnicity is a must look into and Diloretto fulfills this aspect with flying colors! I highly recommend this school! To have my children want to come to this school amd see their face light up with happiness and achievement is priceless.Parent Review8y ago10 Reviews - Pulaski Middle School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school does NOT offer a Gifted and Talented program. The funds were cut a couple years ago. So if your child requires more of a challenge to keep their determination and motivation about their academia strong, I highly suggest you put your name in the lottery for the magnet schools. This school promotes all students on equal ground, but I have a straight student who requires more and Pulaski could not meet her needs. My daughter will transition to a magnet school for the 2025-2026 school year, and I couldn’t be more ecstatic for her! With that said, the 6th grade teachers are good and have worked really hard to assist us in this issue. They just lack the resources unfortunately.Parent Review1y ago9 Reviews - New Britain High School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers try their very best. There is enough support from the counselors if a child is at risk of failing a class. The diversity of the students and mixture of different cultures can be challenging but overall good. If something happens at the school there is immediate communication with parents, minimizing anxiety based on events happening in schools across the nation. I'm pleased with my experience so far.Parent Review3mo ago8 Reviews - Check out schools near 55R Privilege Rd.

"This is really a great city to live in not hard to know exactly where everything is. City Hall is very helpful as far as navigating if this would be your first time coming, but overall, it’s a great place to live. Everyone has a personal preference so to each his own, but much better than Hartford"

"There’s a boat launch up the street that’s getting a trail connecting it to a new park being built. Also at the end of the street is A.W Stanley park which also has a long trail/walkway and a lot of open space for dogs to run around "

"There is public transportation. I have my own car. So my commute is effortless most days. It would help if everyone knew how to drive properly. But I’m not a cop so to each their own. "

"Some owners don’t pick up after their dogs and it’s not fair that I do when others do-not,I think people should be more respectful."

"For pets haters, they’re everywhere. For low income households, this area is not suitable for you. For car owners, it’s not safe from wheel theft or drunk accidents. Mostly family living, and kids."

"Don’t let your kids go out alone unsupervised. Make sure that they become very familiar with their surroundings. People drive like maniacs in New Britain, worse than Mass drivers. Also pedestrians think they have the right of way and often just walk out into traffic. Make sure your kids know how to cross the streets (crosswalks) they will live longer. "

"I grew up here and it's definitely not the same as back in the days as far as living. taxes are outrageous and schools have declined. I don't feel to safe even though we have new staff of police and a brand new billion dollar police station. it's modern day gentrification but with crime all around. "
