I was a student at Del Oro High School from 2020 to 2024. As a student with special needs, I had access to excellent resources and supportive teachers. Most, if not all, of my teachers were understanding of my needs and adapted their teaching styles to help me succeed. Del Oro prepared me well for college, and I am now a student at Sacramento State University. Additionally, Del Oro offers a wide variety of great extracurricular activities, giving students many opportunities to get involved and develop new skills.

This is an excellent public school in the district. The staff is passionate about teaching and helping the students learn at their pace and yet still sets expectations and has high standards. The office staff is fantastic showing a desire to care for the students in all their needs. The principal is firm but fair, like her a lot. The facility is nice for its age and if the bond measure passes the school should be able to fund the upgrades it needs (like most public schools it age). The PTC is great and does a number of fundraisers for the students and school every year. Great parent involvement with that group. Overall I highly recommend this school for its instruction, athletics and overall student care and commitment to learning. Many great teachers work here and have for awhile.
