8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAlthough the facilities may be lacking, SK is a great school with kind teachers. However, the support for students with mental health issues is barely there. Considering the rates of depression and anxiety in high schoolers today, there should be more counselors who are there reliably for students to talk to. Many may not be able to talk to a therapist outside of school, and need the support at SK. The school also does little in terms of supporting the lgbtq+ community. I have friends that have had to fight their own battles with administration in terms of bullying, and their own rights within school. SK is a school with good test scores and graduation rate, but I believe it needs more than just that.Student Review6y ago11 Reviews - Curtis Corner Middle School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNeeds a lot of construction done on the outside and inside. School lunch sucks and is usually cold. Heaters never ever work. My english classrooms ceiling started to leak month or so ago. Not the schools fault obviously but the town needs to help fix up its middle school. Other then that this school is great. Amazing amazing teachers. I had the same ones for 7th and 8th, They have all taught me so much while also being understanding. Kids are okay. Fights happen sometimes but are usually controlled.Student Review4y ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near 557 Five #A.

"I stay here often — several times a year — at a house my family owns. Although it sees a lot of seasonal visitors, it is really homey and friendly and laid back. "

"Wakefield has all of the conveniences of a larger town or small city, without the drawbacks. Excellent restaurants, movie theater, even a great local theater company. Public transportation is great, and the bike path makes getting around for kids and adults a breeze. And did I mention the beach? It's less than a mile away from my house, and it's beautiful. If I want to go into a city, Providence in 30 minutes, Boston is just over an hour, and Amtrak can take me to New York from Kingston Station. "
