"My commute is about an hour and a half to work going to stores you can walk maybe on a good day other than that commute is pretty good around here"
  • Kent Trader
"Less maintenance. Privacy. Prone to trouble. Prone to crime. Few options for grocery shopping. Few options for dining. Dogs roam unsupervised. People either don’t care or report the animal control. "
  • Elizabeth Hernandez
"Cell phone towers are not the best but it’s getting better quickly. Other wise great place to live…!"
  • Denisha Washington
"New to the town but happy thus far. The schools and community are welcoming and provide a family culture. The roads are a bit crowded due to increased traffic but the growth is promising and welcomed. "
  • Fpi7wvk989
"I’ve lived here for 3 years and it reminds me of where I grew up in Pennsylvania. It makes me feel less homesick "

"There are always dogs outside but always in fences or on a lease. They just bark quite a bit. There aren’t many stray dogs just wondering around the area. "
  • Normastokes S.
"must drive to any destination as there is no public transportation, this is a rural suburb of Raleigh"
  • Jtlarreau
"Small town. I've lived here for 7 years. No issues. Nice neighbors. Safe community. Good roads. Peaceful. "
  • bbchillcott
"I live here and work from my home. Neighborhood has a mix of age groups with singles and families with children ranging from very small to teenagers. Very homey atmosphere. Street ends in a cul-de-sac, so traffic is minimal with local travel only."
  • kilnntime
"This is a great area, about a 30 minute drive to downtown Raleigh, family area with beautiful park where you can walk down to catch a little league game in the evenings or watch a soccer game, wonderful playground and walking track. Town activities include concerts at the depot , festivals and a fun Christmas parade. Several grocery stores close by along with restraunts, drug stores , cleaners ect. All the conviences of the city yet the slow paced life of the country. "
  • Cindy V.
"This house looks like a great buy...."
