My son was in the school for 2 years and he suffered a lot of mental abuse as well as verbal he ended up losing about 10 lb and now I decided to transfer him from the school this school still calls me and tells me that they keep logging in my child as if he was absent even though it's been a year since he has not attended the school this is all because of the scholarship I strongly believe this school should be defunded or should be run by different people people who Care

Like I have seen a lot of problems with the SPED Department they have these few about of kids treating others unfairly and threatening to hurt others and it’s not fair how they are not getting in trouble or anything to do with this or cancel the programs like role models it’s not that fair neither is the security they don’t do anything and neither the students are not good school shouldn’t exist. government pulls kids out of homes to learn I mean it takes away our fun time and it’s not that good to do that it just makes them dumber if they were bored usually that’s why the government is bad barely funds on schools for kids futures plus they need to improve more classes like art it takes forever to add it they have empty classes that are barely used it would be more better to add art classes that teach you how to draw good I wish this would be more better if Brownsville was not a school it would be a problem with the constant threats

Subject: Concern Regarding Unprofessional Behavior at Registration Office Dear: School AdministratorI visited Miami Northwest Senior High School today to officially withdraw my son, who was present with me during the visit. This was my first time returning to this school in over a decade, and unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing.The staff member in the registration office was extremely unprofessional and displayed a very negative attitude. My son, who was witnessing the interaction, even commented, “Mom, I’m so glad you’re not sending me to this school.” That alone speaks volumes.The staff member stated that she hadn’t had a break or used the restroom all day, and then dismissed me by saying, “See you tomorrow, I got to go.” While I understand that being understaffed can be challenging, that is not the responsibility of parents, and certainly not an excuse for unprofessional conduct. These staffing issues should be addressed with the school board—not taken out on the families you serve.If this is how parents are being treated during brief encounters, I can only imagine how the children are spoken to or treated on a daily basis.I hope this message serves as a reminder that professionalism and courtesy go a long way, especially in a school environment where children and families should feel respected and supported.Sincerely,Vinesha Clark
