All the principal's friends kids will be placed in gifted class and only those kids will get to do Robotics and debate even if the other kids know coding and have taken robotics class outside of school and are very much interested in debate. Being said that my daughter had amazing teachers 2 years out of the 5 years she attended. These teachers were loved by everyone because they care about all the kids in their class and communicate to all the parents not just the ones they are friends with.One of the best things that happened to this school was to get new music teacher couple of years back. Until she came, the kids used to watch movies most of the music class with their previous music teacher and she used to have plays run by gifted kids and kids of PTA members.This school is only for the kids whose parents are lucky enough to be friends with principal.Parent Review2y ago - Silver Trail Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have to say that my daughter is a 7th grader at Silver trail middle and ever since the new principal Dr. Nesmith has been in the control everything has been amazing. Middle school is usually a difficult time for kids but I have to give it to administration because they are on point. If my daughter has ever had an issue with class mates they nip it in the butt immediately. You can tell they really love and take care of the kids. Dismissal and irresponsible are two words I would use to describe the school. They also covered up when I was in high school in 2018-19 a student put up a camera in the bathroom of ECE taking pictures of children and the students.Other Review2y ago

"Coral Ridge and Lauderdale-by-the-Sea are gorgeous areas. Very safe and everyone is friendly. The restaurants are great and depending on where you live it’s a walkable area. The beach is a 10 minute walk. There are plenty of gyms, fitness centers and other healthy places. Every house and apartment complex is unique. Great place for young professionals, families and the elderly. Great place for those that don’t want to deal with the downtown area on a daily basis however wish to be within a short drive to visit when wanting to. "

"Coral Ridge Country Club and the surrounding neighborhoods is a very nice neighborhood to live. It is within close proximity to the beach, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Oakland Park, US-1, plenty of restaurants and grocery stores. Very unique feel and very safe. "
