This school has been fantastic for my two children. My daughter is moving on to Middle School this year, and I feel that she has been prepared amazingly well by her teachers for whatever comes next. While Covid was challenging, the teachers did their best to keep the kids on track. In the years since, there has been a marked effort to catch the kids up on things they missed. My daughter missed the second half of K and did hybrid schooling for first grade. During that time her reading suffered, but there were great reading teachers that would meet with her over Zoom and help get her caught up. By 2nd grade she no longer needed services and at 4th, she's above grade level with her reading. My son has loved the hands on approach to history and has been kept engaged by his teachers remarkably well. Finally, the opportunities outside of school have been great. From chorus, to drama, to Finding Our Stride, the kids have been exposed to many activities above and beyond what the Rec Department offers (which isn't a slight on Leb Rec, as they also have amazing offerings).

I attended this school for my sophomore, junior, and senior years and in those years i experienced horrible things from not only students but some teachers as well (bullying, immaturity, lack of class, rudeness) and some (maybe most) of the teachers were horrible role models for students to look up and encouraged them to act uncivilized. I almost considered dropping out of school the first year i attended this school because of all the horrible things that i experienced. Going to this school felt like going back to junior high school all over again based on the immature behaviors and lack of class. Some of the teachers were nothing more than 12-14 year olds in adult bodies and i noticed bullying from not only students but even some of the teachers even bullied students! and there were teachers and students that didn't have love towards everyone and excluded some people based on superficialities and grade level (like Freshman for example). Too sum it all up most of the people had inner beauties that were very unattractive. I don't recommend this school to anyone.

the teachers are awesome...they care about the kids and they are professional and superior at what they do.
