8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended this school for my sophomore, junior, and senior years and in those years i experienced horrible things from not only students but some teachers as well (bullying, immaturity, lack of class, rudeness) and some (maybe most) of the teachers were horrible role models for students to look up and encouraged them to act uncivilized. I almost considered dropping out of school the first year i attended this school because of all the horrible things that i experienced. Going to this school felt like going back to junior high school all over again based on the immature behaviors and lack of class. Some of the teachers were nothing more than 12-14 year olds in adult bodies and i noticed bullying from not only students but even some of the teachers even bullied students! and there were teachers and students that didn't have love towards everyone and excluded some people based on superficialities and grade level (like Freshman for example). Too sum it all up most of the people had inner beauties that were very unattractive. I don't recommend this school to anyone.Other Review9y ago - Lebanon Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat do we love about Mt. Leb? So many things... Warm, kind, safe, and friendly environment. Dedicated, thoughtful, caring, responsive staff. Dynamic art and music programs! Beautiful, cozy library. The Four Winds Program is a special opportunity for children to learn about nature (often outside) in the context of math, science, language, and the world around them. At the weekly Morning Sing parents/caregivers/families are welcomed and share in the positive energy. During Morning Sing students are encouraged, without pressure, to appear on stage to perform everything from dance routines to drumming. Another gem is the Safe Routes to School program, where children are supported in safely walking to school on specific days. During special electives week our son learned the signing alphabet that he now tries to teach us. Each year children receive a special (free) book as part of the "Books are Terrific Treasures" program. The principal is highly accessible, quick to respond and strives to find solutions that work for the parents, staff, and children. She offers regular coffee chats for parents/caregivers. We are lucky to have her.Parent Review8y ago - Check out schools near 266 Poverty Ln #8A.

"The area near DHMC is very nice and we feel very safe here. I have only lived here for one year, but I get the feeling that this is a great place to raise a family. The only downside is the housing market. Rent is expensive and options are limited. "

"the farmers markets in the summer, and the neighborhood wide garage sale in the spring, and the city fireworks display three times a year. "
