I attended most of my high school years here and I wanted to leave in 10th due to bullying and some other stuff going on at the time. I stuck it out (still had the same bully for 2 more years) . I had a great group of friends and that helped a lot. I also had some really great teachers. My freshman year was a rough start and 10th wasn't much better, but I kept it together and finished HS strong. "The yucca valley area is a great place to live if you don’t mind wide open spaces and driving to conveniences. If you need convenience, you can live closer to town center, but it is unsafe and there is a lot of theft, drugs and other crimes."
