"They would like that there’s many other dogs in the neighborhood so they’ll have someone to play with and there’s many parks so they’ll can take their dogs for walks "
  • SAHAR O BADWAN
"Not safe, you hear gunshots every day every night. My friend lived there for one year but she couldn’t stand it. She moved right after the lease is over. "
  • Trulia User
"there are plenty of parks, the schools are decent, the people who live in the area are generally good people. plenty of restaurants if eating out is your thing, stores are close and nearby "
  • Trulia User
"It’s 5 minutes away from stores or convenient stores, even fast food near by, walk or ride bike safely to them. Great worship churches, and postal office. "
  • Trulia User
"I use my own vehicle. It’s close to 76 and 77. It’s not a safe neighborhood at all, but it is cheap. "
  • Trulia User
"need some improvement but it's home. been here all my life. crime is bad but it's everywhere. houses need work but that's on the owners. people are friendly and safe to raise kids. never stayed anywhere else and never will. I love my home and will always be a east side Ryder. "
  • Trulia User
"You can sit in your front yard and watch the fireworks There’s a nearby ice cream shop Shopping is close Everyone watches out for each other "
  • Katty N.
"I guess its nice that there are state parks in the area where you could take your dogs to spend some quiet time, go on walks, and get some fresh air. The East side is my preferred part of Akron; However, having said that, just be careful that you pay close attention to which part of East Akron you are in— If you end up in the wrong area, you may be looking at a situation where you'd want to keep a closer eye on your dog, for example. Also, keep in mind, Akron isn't very rural, so you'll have plenty of somewhat busy, to very busy streets all around you... If you've got a dog that likes to get loose, you may want to take precautions to avoid any dangerous accidents."
  • Patricia F.
"We keep watch, nothing doesn’t get unnoticed, it’s a kid and pet friendly neighborhood, always looking out for the safety of all kids playing, and pets safety during the hot and cold weather season . Neighbors very friendly and very honest, they’ll tell it to you straight, if something is of concern."
  • Patricia F.
"I am afraid to go down town , there is too much closed roads. Much rather take the back roads, and avoid going through town."
  • Princess P.
"there are many kids in the area and for the most part pretty good kids but there are the occasional obnoxious middle schoolers."
  • Mandi M.
"Everyone seems to have dogs in the neighborhood but a lot of them do not maintain them well. Some people mistreat them by leaving them out on chains all hours of the day or not cleaning up after them as they should"
  • Eaustin0313
"I personally like the neighborhood I live in it’s all about weather you stay to yourself or not and how you maintain home "
  • Rayeanne17
"They shouldn’t have a problem with it because it’s okay so it’s cool I love it over here I guess great neighborhood "
  • Tanesha F.
"it's a fair commute to work and there is a public bus service so I guess it's ok I don't use the public bus"
  • Terica P.
"We Have Bible study every Tuesday at my neighbors house. The elementary school right down the street so the kids go to the school playground and play every day "
  • Rellis902
"There is a lot of crime in this neighborhood. I’m moving away as soon as I can because I fear for my family’s lives. "
  • Robyn m.
"There really aren’t any community events where I live. It’s not the greatest area in Akron. But it’s not a terrible area either"
  • Sn0811
"Not a whole lot going on we do have nice fireworks on the 4th of July but other than that not a lot going on "
  • Scott R.
