"We live walking distance to old town. Great vibes amazing food. Places to shop and even a corner market. The fire dept is close too which makes us feel safe. "
  • Trulia User
"This is a great neighborhood for dogs. People are very kind and responsible. They do require leashes at the park, but most people are pretty cool if your dog is trained. "
  • Godb4mealways
"Nice areas to walk. Quiet neighborhood. Not very culturally diverse. Many different restaurants near."
  • Stone5
"Lived here for 11 years. There is a sense of community. Neighbors know each other by name. Other neighbors walking by will say high. Families are predominate and kids play with one another. We feel safe here and have no plans to move - Placentia is a well kept secret of North OC. Stores, parks , restaurants will have the same small community vibe (in a Suburban setting) - it’s highly probable you will run across someone you know, have the door open for you, cars letting you go first on the road or just running across someone you know from your kids school."
  • Baharkho
"There nice people in the area And dog owners are very responsible And the family is great "
  • Jonathan H.
"Lots of grassy curbed sidewalks. Apartments with dog parks within the complex. Dog walkers available on dog walking apps."
  • Joy H.
"I have lived here for 15 years and I like it here. Very restful and relaxing area. I need to move to a place where my daughter can live with me to be my caregiver. "

"It’s a nice and quiet neighborhood. No one really bothers you and neighbors leave you alone if you don’t want to interact but are still kind to one another"
  • Dominique J.
"Nice neighborhood but good luck finding parking. As a warning I have gotten my car broken into parked in my apartment lot."
  • Tayler P.
"I do not have a commute. I work in the neighborhood.... as a student teacher. But placentia is easily accessible to the freeway"
  • Jjgoldenkey
"I've lived this community for last two years and we really love it. Neighbors are nice and feel secured. it's truly neighborhood watch for each other. Great sports park to enjoy for my kids and dog, walking distance to grocery market and school is great."
  • Cliffordberkley
"Local commute to the next city over. Only about 10-15 minutes away. I don’t require use of freeway. If working in Los Angeles, plan for an hour or more each way"

It is a safe city with plenty of sidewalks and parks. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping centers for all ages and we are centrally located to the 57, 91 and 55 freeways and a hop, skip and a jump to the John Wayne Airport."
  • SND

"It’s a nice quite neighborhood. And it stay very clean as well. If you do choose to move into alts vista just know it’s a neighborhood with older couples "
  • Morgan Maguire
"Dogs are common and welcome in Placentia. Unfortunately, there isn't a dog park in the city, but Brea has a nice, fairly new dog park on Valencia just past Lambert. They recently took the dog waste bins/bags out of the sports complex, but it's not that big of a deal. Most houses here have plenty of room for multiple dogs, just be careful with small dogs in the with as coyotes are active even in early hours of the morning. "
  • Jojodancr55
"dog friendly community, people walk their dogs every day. people would like the fact that dogs are welcome here"
  • Debbie_lef
"yes, heritage day parade, tamale festival, high school holiday boutique , concerts in the park, movies at community park, Placentia Neighborhood walk. His House Homeless Assistance, magical Art Post at Bastenchury and McCormick honoring holidays and mile stone dates. "
  • Natalie L.
"There are a ton of amazing schools and families in this area. Very suburban and homey. It’s a small town in the craziness of busy city areas. "
  • Nicolemlayana
"Sounds like placenta. Bomb Mexican food everywhere. Close to Cal State Fullerton. Homes and apartments of all shapes and sizes."
