Room Description

Cozy private studio in Everett WA house (Lowell District) near hospitals, downtown, Everett Boeing and Everett Marina

Your own free parking spot at the north side of the house in front of the garage at the gate. Walk through the gate to the back door. The back of the house (bedroom, hallway/food prep area and bathroom/laundry space) is mostly your personal space. We will need to use the laundry machine twice a week. The back door has a keyless deadbolt that can be opened with a passcode we will give you. The bedroom is 8 ft by 10 ft and the bathroom is 5 ft by 6ft. The total space is about 200 sq ft. In the kitchenette, we have provided you a separate medium sized refrigerator, a microwave/oven, single induction cooktop, rice cooker and small coffee maker for your personal use. We provide you starter dishes and utensils. You will perform monthly cleaning of the bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom.

We have a 32" TV in the room with a ROKU box for full streaming services. It can display a screen mirror of a device. The WiFi signal is strong with 2.5GHz connection with 50Mbps upload and download speeds. 100Mbit ethernet internet is available by request.

The room is heated and cooled by a Mitsubishi ductless system.

The I-5 freeway is difficult to hear, because it's at a higher elevation. Lowell Rd is busy in the morning and afternoon on weekdays for commuters. The windows have blackout shades.

We do not allow pets into the space. The fir flooring and window sills will be quickly scratched and dented.

We do not allow smoking of any kind inside the building.

We built the back of the house with full insulation and extra sound proofing. Full sun beams into the room by the late afternoon.

Everett Transit Bus 29 has a stop within 2 blocks of our house. Bus 29 takes a person to the Everett Transit Center and past North Providence Regional Medical Center on 13th St to Everett Community College. From the Everett Transit Center, a bus can be taken to connect to the light link rail to get to Seattle.

Neighborhood overview:
The historic district of Lowell has many arts & crafts as well as more modern homes with nice views of the Cascade Mountains.
Angel of the Winds Arena has many concerts and hockey/ice skating events. Downtown Everett has lots of restaurants and Funko headquarters. The Everett Marina has restaurants, brewery and distillery. Historic downtown Snohomish has restaurants, bakeries, bars and shops. We have a riverfront park on Snohomish River. Skiing can be done at Stevens Pass along Hwy 2. Tulalip casino.

No smoking. No pets. Only one person can reasonably fit on the twin bed. Having a guest for a few nights is OK. The small 200 sq ft space is only for one person long term.

Andrew, Amy's husband, works as an industrial, commercial electrician. We love to cook, garden, travel, camp and swim.
