NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs parents, we value empathy, accountability, and collaboration, especially when concerns are raised. Unfortunately, our experience with the principal did not reflect those values. During our meeting, communication felt defensive and lacked compassion, and there was no acknowledgment of the impact this situation had on our family or an apology offered.Other staff members were professional and supportive, and some attempted to redirect the conversation. However, the principal’s approach was never meaningfully addressed or challenged, and while a district representative was present, additional advocacy would have been helpful.Although a possible resolution is now underway, this experience has caused us to lose trust in the school’s leadership.
