I'm not going to say this school doesn't have some good teachers however this school is NOT learning disability friendly. The teachers are not very forgiving with adhd kiddos and they are not accommodating whatsoever with 504 plans, either. They have far higher, un reasonable expectations for a nuero divergent 7 yr than what i consider normal. Interventions are actually not utilized for 504 or iep students, instead they resort to referrals and suspensions which DO turn into expulsions. Which is harsh considering the "offenses" are minimal.These teachers/school focuses their priority on students who learn and behave on one scale.

My son, who's on the autistic spectrum, has been repetitiously accused of saying things he's never said, nor never even been caught saying. There's a few kids on campus that group together in a click, or a gang, as well used to call it, who can't get away with anything because the group maintained the lie when bearing witness. My son has been repeatedly disciplined, prevented from being in school activities that we helped fund, and ridiculed. He was told his schedule would be shifted to help him in his academics. He was put in a classroom without a subject or even a full time teacher. I'm not the only one having issues like this, I'm the only one brave enough to speak about it publicly.
