2 bedroom cabin located in gated resort of Bear Paw which is the only development on gorgeous Lake Hiwassee in the mountains of southwestern North Carolina. Come relax on your deck or wrap around porch. The cabin includes kitchen, open dining/living area tv, dvd and stereo. Lake Hiwassee is only ten minutes walking distance from our home. Lake Hiwassee is an 18-mile long mountain lake 160 miles of shoreline that offers casual fishing, boating, and swimming. There is also a shared swimming pool, a marina that rents boats, a tennis court, a basketball court, a child's playground, and a child's fishing pond. A secured entrance gate adds to the feeling of peace and serenity pervading Bear Paw

First months rent and matching security deposit of 795.00 Home is Furnished Minimum of 1 year lease . Tenant pays all utilities owner furnishes Basic satellite TV Pets may be considered but there is a one time non nonrefundable pet fee

    "vehicle is a must have commodity to get around when you live out of the town city limits. Unless you like to walk or ride a bike. They're are few other drawbacks as well. Communicating by cell phone is not very good around the countryside, lacking cell towers. This is a problem, even trying to get on the internet. Somedays are better than others but still we have poor reception. Other than that we have the beautiful outdoors. We can enjoy going to the national forest for hiking, camping, hunting, fishing or just driving around the back roads and enjoy scenery as well as wildlife. Living outside the city's limit might have it's drawbacks but you take the good and the bad as it comes and make the best of it."

    "Murphy, NC is a small community with all the basics (yes, including Walmart). There is a lot to do or you can relax and enjoy the beauty of the mountains. Winters are NOT harsh, however, you will need warm clothing. You can enjoy the wildlife from your back deck or walk the many trails throughout the county. Although Murphy will have a Casino come the Summer of 2015; it will have little impact on the quality of life."
