About this House

*OFF-SEASON SPECIAL: $100/night - $2500/mo
**Available 7/26/25 - 11/1/25

Welcome to your little slice of heaven on earth. Located in the heart of Venice, your stay comes with all the pleasures of tropical beach living.

Conveniently situated in the heart of the Island, your home is tucked away in a peaceful corner of town without street noise, yet close enough to plenteous shopping, dining, salon-ing, or just about any other amusement you might indulge in.

Venice Island is one of the safest neighborhoods in Florida. This home is directly across the street from the beautiful Prentiss French Park, complete with a walking trail, playground, and picnic tables for your wine and charcuterie lunch. It's never too crowded, full of cute wildlife, and friends can be made very quickly with the kind neighbors. There are also four other parks within a 5-minute walk from your home.

If you like the beach, you'll love ours. Only 5-blocks away you will reach the shores of one of the most serene beaches in America, Venice Beach. Most tourists use the main beach but if you'd like a more local experience check out the Chauncey Howard Beach entrance or try the Alhambra Rd. entrance, especially early in the morning where you quite often find yourself alone with the beautiful view.

Most everything in the home is updated. Luxury vinyl floors, appliances, a remodeled kitchen and bathrooms, pIantation shutters, and the furniture is in great condition. The interior decor keeps the living space bright and beachy, 2 HD smart TV's, and the wireless internet is the fastest available. Ample Florida sunshine pours through the windows to keep your spirits high.

Included in your stay are bicycles, beach towels, beach toys, beach chairs, and a grill with extra propane tanks on-site so you don't run out.

We look forward to giving you a wonderful experience, whether you're working, playing, or staying for an extended period of time.

"A piece of paradise. Everything is in walking and biking distance. The island has everything from parks, local restaurants, beaches, the jetty, festivals, a library, an art center, a local museum, city basketball, tennis, pickleball, and shuffleboard courts, a children's splash pad, churches, a hospital, and a grocery store. It also has and elementary, middle, and high school where kids can bike to school. At the downtown gazebo there are public concerts and there are often downtown festivals. Every Saturday there's a farmer's market in front of the firehouse. It's golf cart and bike friendly with the famous legacy trail bike trail. You can visit the public beaches, fish from the city pier or jetty, or venture out for an isolated stroll along Casperson's beach, known as the shark's tooth capital of the world. Botique shops, ice cream shops, and local restraunts provide plenty to do year round. Perfect for families or retires. "
  • Dlremo12

"I’ve lived on Venice Island for four years. I love how people always acknowledge each other with a cheerful greeting. And I love having a supermarket, drug store, banks, post office, restaurants, art and exercise classes, theatrical and musical performances, and the beach all within easy walking distance. A very strong sense of community, with fun holiday parades and festivals throughout the year. Dogs are welcome at sidewalk cafes and there’s even a dedicated Dog Beach where dogs can run free and swim."
