I’ve had a very terrible experience at this school. Was treated very unfairly and feelings were disregarded. So happy this is my child’s last yr here. And legal action would be taken

I was once a student at Lyons Elementary, and now I have children attending the school. Unfortunately, the environment does not feel the same as it once did.I’ve noticed what seems to be a very passive approach from the current principal, Ms. Arocha, when it comes to addressing concerns such as bullying and staff conduct. There have also been ongoing issues with certain non-teaching staff overstepping their roles, concerns about inappropriate behavior on school grounds, and situations involving parking and crossing guard enforcement that feel excessive and unprofessional.As a parent and former student, I simply want to see the school provide a safer, more structured, and more supportive environment for the children and families in the community

This is the worst school lansing has. I do not recommend.

Pattengill academy is a great 4th through 6th school and each grade has its own floor. The school has a huge gym, a cafeteria with a stage, and a separate auditorium. The school has a great playground tons of space for kids to burn off energy to be focused for class and this wonderful building is run by Tony Forstophel.

Total chaos. Parents don't get notified when field trips go an hour over the time they are supposed to. Awful experience.
