What Locals Say about New Territory

"People love dogs but there are quite a few “neighborhood” dogs that owners let free to walk the neighborhood and get too comfortable with it. I don’t agree with it but just have your dog leashed so they don’t interact with the other ones"

"Nice to walk in neighbourhood and enjoy the Clubhouse and swimming pool. Good shaded area. Good lake and birds and trees and picnic area."

"Highway 59 is not bad comparing to other major highways in Houston area, it normally does not block in the rush hour unless there is accident. Only the intersection to Beltway 8 slows the traffic."

"We have a lot of greenery in our area, nice big trees, and we always see the sugar land lawn men decorating the neighborhood with beautiful flowers for the seasons. Most everyone is nice, very respectful and a lot of people become friends and close friends and have nice bbqs or get togethers. We frequently see real cute kids playing together, or riding bikes or playing at the parks in the neighborhoods. Everything is usually always clean and looks nice . Pools are great, there is one around each area of the neighborhoods which is great too. We have lived here for 20 years now and never moved away. "

"We've lived there before, worked in SL. NT is a great place to raise a family, go to school, go to church, neighborhood grocery store is a mile away. "

"I've lived in this area for about 8 years but I only recently moved to Foster's Green a few months ago. The community is very safe and pet-friendly, if you live in one of the houses behind the lake like I do almost every time you look outside in the daytime or evening there is somebody walking. From my house, walking to the nearest park (Pecan Park) is a 3-4 minute walk. The schools around here are excellent and have very good ratings and not much traffic goes on around here. The neighborhood is very tidy and is very family, pet, and kid friendly. The only downside about living in Foster's Green is that if your child is going to middle school, specifically Sartartia, buses are not free since the requirement to have a free bus is to live 2 miles or more away from the school (which I find absurd because Foster's Green is only 1.9 miles away) but overall this is a very good place to live in."
