About this House

Homeowner looking for a roommate!

Basement for rent; the private space consists of a living room with a large window that makes the room feel bright, bedroom with two new egress windows, spacious bathroom with shower and large bathroom closet for extra storage space. The basement has a utility room with washer and dryer that is shared among the residents of the home and entrance into the home is shared.

In the main living space there is a shared kitchen, living room, dining room, large fenced in backyard with furnished deck and fire pit. Parking may be driveway or street parking; house is in a quiet neighborhood.

My name is Dana and I am the homeowner, I live on the main level and have one renter on the main level as well. I have two small/medium sized dogs in the home and would consider our general atmosphere to be respectful and tidy. I like all things outdoors and spend free time doing yard work or enjoying a beer in the backyard. Professionally, both my tenant and I work full-time and are out of the house a lot. I am typically home in the mornings and at work in the afternoon and evening.

I am looking for a renter between 18-35, pets considered for an additional fee, who is responsible and friendly.

Rental fee is $850/month paid on the 1st of each month, all utilities paid by owner. 1 year lease preferred (flexibility with length of lease considered) with $850 security deposit. Payment must be on time or tenant will be subject to termination of lease and potential eviction.

My home is pet friendly; pets will be considered for an additional fee but will require a meeting before approval. Smoking is allowed outside of home and outside of dwellings only. Damages outside of typical wear and tear caused by renter will need to be paid by renter. Driveway parking cannot be promised but a combination of street parking and driveway parking will likely occur.

Owner will conduct all yard maintenance. Tenant must maintain a general cleanliness of shared spaces and personal spaces within the home, completing personal chores in a timely manner i.e. dishes or cleaning up after themselves.
