3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am sorry to say this, but I did not enjoy this school. Stupid rules are the least of your worries. I have been bullied several times by children who do not want me to succeed. The teachers were fine, but only people my race actually cared. I was hit, yelled at, and really few higher ups stood up for me. I was squeezed to death by how much anxiety I had just by one of the bullies had came up to me. Thank god though with the help of teachers, I passed with honors on my staar test and am now at connally where I am getting straight A's. Thank you to the people that cared, but for now, many of the people there are going to make it hell.Other Review1y ago20 Reviews - Glass Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageColby Glass Elementary is an incredible school, and the reason we chose to buy our house in this area of San Antonio. We are a military family, recently moving to San Antonio over a year ago, which has resulted in my son having attended 3 different elementary schools. Colby Glass has been by far the best elementary school he has attended, even exceeding my high expectations. He has had guidance support as a new student, is being taught at an advanced level for his age, and has thrived socially by attending all of the wonderful events the school has organized. Choosing to settle down in this school district has been the greatest blessing, for both my son at Glass and my daughter at Pat Neff (special shout out to the Neff MS Band, which has nurtured my daughter into being a brilliant trumpet player). If given a choice between any schools in area, I would choose Glass every time. Also, they are almost finished with the construction of a new gymnasium, which will only add to brilliance of this school!Parent Review2y ago3 Reviews - Check out schools near 5250 Callaghan Rd.

"Neighborhoods are growing rapidly. New developments are happening every week. City is starting sidewalk and streets pending November 2027. Moved in 2024 and love the proximity to downtown and Alamodome."

"We moved here specifically for the community, schools, and the perfect central locations to downtown and the airport. We enjoy the community events, the street parties, and the community organization. There are so many people walking their dogs daily, it’s just a feeling of a true community. "

"I have resided in San Antonio ZIP Code 78210 for two years and I can’t say unequivocally that the neighborhood is improving. I feel very safe in my neighborhood. The neighborhood is lacking grocery stores, restaurants, bars, or any kind of social evening nightlife really. The streets are relatively well kept in the sidewalks are as well. I feel very safe, but it’s nott necessarily a neighborhood where I would go out walking after 9 PM. Neighbors are friendly if you are proactive in speaking with them. It is about the least outgoing, bunch of neighbors I’ve ever had in terms of reaching out."

"We have a 4th of July neighborhood parade. People in the neighborhood bring out their chairs and sit on the lawn to watch their friends/neighbors parade down the street dressed for the occasion in red, white and blue. Dogs are included."
