They were suspended, not for behavior problems or fighting or even for academic violations. Some students received suspensions for 50 days simply for having a shirt that wasn't completely tucked in. In one case, the principal spotted a student whose shirt became untucked AS HE WAS TUCKING IT BACK IN, and still suspended him for 50 days. The principal does nothing about it. I have called the school board and nothing still hasn’t been done. My kids got 3 more months.
