  • Ozzy C.
"It feels like home in this neighborhood! It’s cozy and neighborly and full of trees which I really like. Great neighborhood for running! I can do a 5K easily with just a few hills. People are friendly to both people and their pets."
  • Trulia User
"Beautiful mature trees, most folks maintain their property fairly well. Most of my neighbors have lived here for 10+ years. We don't know of any easily accessible public plat areas here, but groups of kids sometimes play in each other's yards."
  • Neighbor
"Sick stray dogs leave their waste in your yard. "Some" amigos in this area are inconsiderate, loud, and don't maintain their residence properly. it's sad"
  • RJ
"Nice family neighborhood with lots of hard working folks, some retired folks. Most folks take care of their house. Feels good here most of the time."
  • Sonia S.
"My parents have lived here for 10 years and now we live here. I love the feel of an older neighborhood where the houses aren’t too close and the trees are beautiful "
  • Cole B.
"i live there and love the neiborhood the people and the area. close to downtown and matthews minthill and univercity area just 10min away from providence rd area. close to 3 major hwys 485,85,74"
  • Terry
"Great location. Close to everything. Very nice place to raise children. Neighbors are great and friendly. Everyone is peaceful and kind. Established neighborhood most people have lived in this area for 10+ years. Feels like your living in the peaceful country with all the amenities of a city. Very pet and pedestrian friendly. "
  • Juno_lake
"I wasn't sure at first about an in-city suburban neighborhood, but it is pleasantly peaceful to live here. I haven't heard of any reports from neighbors about crime since I've lived here (5 years now) and most people are pleased to keep to themselves. People maintain their homes (mostly) and no annoying HOAs. My favorite part is that it is only 20 minutes to any part of town! Even the airport, Concord Mills, and downtown. 30 minutes to Northlake Mall and Pineville. Love this area, quiet neighborhoods. Definitely an urban neighborhood and you're reminded by the occasional fire truck siren, but it's quiet at night. The only annoyance is the solicitors which seem to target this area but a simple sign on the door takes care of that."
