"For the most part it’s a safe town with good schools. "
  • 2nbzs7prvt
"Everyone looks out for each others pets. They walk their pets on a leash and all of the dogs are really nice"
  • Gammy
"I feel like dog owners would have mixed feelings on the area. I am a dog owner myself and while my family and furbaby love it here I do wish we had more options as far as areas for the dogs. There just isn’t much funding I guess so they are bare minimum. I would love to see it updated in the future with more seating, flowers, maybe a water area and more focus on supplies owners may need while at the park such as poo bags, hand sanitizer, water fountains. "
  • Laura
"College town with equal number of students and residents. Prices reflect college demand for housing. "
  • Grlpls99
"There is multiple dog parks. There is a facebook page specifically for lost dogs. Theres is also a humane society that provides alot of help! "
  • Kirsten F.
"Super easy. I have a 12 minute commute to my office. There is rarely any traffic. It takes me no more than 12 minutes to get there. There are multiple ways to get most locations. We like to joke about Stillwater traffic as it’s not anything you would consider actual traffic. It’s a very easy place to be a single mother because I can easily get from work to school to extracurricular activities. I highly recommend it here."
  • KRISTI H.
"the people in the area is what makes this place different than most places I have been to or lived I do think that there shoul be more help with the homeless."
  • Suzette B.
"This is a pretty safe area for kids to play! The schools are fantastic! There’s plenty of playgrounds around! "
  • Clayjohn2195
"It’s quiet, and comfortable here at the vintage apartments, as for the rest of this area I don’t know"
  • Angel N.
"Stillwater has a lot of fun activities. Due to it being a college town there is always a family fun sporting event. "
  • Dontae R.
"I have lived in Stillwater for many years and it has been great for me and my family. People are friendly and the town is clean. "
  • Angel N.
"There are a lot of kids in our neighborhood. Also people love to walk their dogs. Another great thing is how convenient you are to shopping. "
  • Nicole A.
"Traffic is terrible when the college students are in town but other than that not terrible. Once you know the community and the town you figure out roads that are less traveled and get places faster. "
  • Angel N.
"Always have people walking their dogs. Kids always playing outside. Nice and safe in the night time "
  • Monique W.
"We have weekly community events like painting night, grocery bingo, and free pizza. Makes getting to know the staff and neighbors even more memorable "
  • Claire Hohertz
"Quaint and friendly. Safe. Neighbors keep their yards clean and even college students keep noise level to a minimum."
  • Trngen
"We built the first house in this subdivision in 1966, & have lived in it for the entire time. The location is the best in town for schools and O.S.U."
  • Allenbz67

  • Trngen
"I have Lived here 52 years without any problems. Traffic is light enough that everyone walks/jogs in the street."
  • Kansasjate88
"Stillwater is a college town, but it’s growing. I feel safe walking around, usually. There are some decent places to eat, and activities for all walks of life. I wish they had a Target!"
  • Genericallyaccepted
"It's a college town. It's a temporary town for a lot of people. Most of the residents are nice. There's a handful of delinquents that reside in this town, though. "
