Great new school. The teachers are always nice and respectful. My child loves the school and the new layout. It did move out of town next to the intermediate school, but Waunakee has done a good job making it accessible.

Simply fantastic - we will miss this school!

We are a military family and we have lived here 2 and half years. Our son has been going to the high school for a few months now and I honestly have no complaints. It is a wonderful school and the teachers seem to be really great they have emailed and reached out a lot. Our kids do play sports so we met a lot of people that way and we volunteer too. My son has really enjoyed football here its his passion again which fizzles out from time to time but the freshmen's are undefeated right now. Clubs and sports have really had our kids open up here since we aren't from here. We do think that the town has complainers here but we really have really enjoyed the teachers and they do not give out too much homework and when our son actually does his homework and classwork his gets really good grades. They have also made the students feel very accepted in every way and a little too much i think they just care a lot and want to show it. The are a very proud town with tailgates and hang outs and events. Our kids don't want to leave and that makes us feel good that they have been so happy here. If there are any issues involving your kid they will call and let you know and they handle all the issues so we were happy about that as well. Overall we are really pleased with the school so get your kids involved! We never let income stop our kids from enjoying school and no one should so yes people make a lot of money from here but i think there are a lot of great people and programs here because of that. Have fun!

We are a military and moved here from Paddock lake, WI. So many of our friends and family told us to live in Waunakee the only Waunakee in the world! We were told that the sports and the community and the schools would not disappoint! That is still true and we have been here for two and a half years. The sports are amazing and we love it. Our boys have excelled in every way. When we were new to the area they gave our kids a one on one tour of the whole building and got them all set up!!! The teachers are super nice and helpful and go out of their way to introduce themselves and the principal and the assistant principal are amazing and super nice! They always call if there are issues with my kids to let me know whats going on they honestly care a lot and sometimes we have to roll our eyes and think they care a lot!! Overall we are very pleased with the school and they are doing a great job and they are going above and beyond to make sure every student is being cared for and feels safe at school especially with everything going on right now with the division. The high school is super close to the middle school which is nice, pick up and drop off can get crazy but all car lines are. We have always thought this is a great place to go to school and play sports. The town for sure gets together a lot and they will exclude you so put yourself out there and make friends and sign your kids up for clubs and sports so they can get involved no one is going to do it for you. The town its self is crazy on rules and complain a lot. They want you to shovel every 24 hours after it snows and your have to keep sidewalks clear at all times fyi! Make the most out of it!
