About this House

Positioned along one of the most coveted stretches of Neptune Avenue, this exceptional oceanfront residence offers a rare combination of scale, privacy, and timeless quality. Built in 2005 with enduring craftsmanship and premium materials, including Accoya wood trim, the home was designed for both beauty and longevity. Significantly larger than most recent Neptune Avenue offerings, the residence features expansive living spaces, en suite baths for every bedroom, elevator access to all floors, and a rare three-car garage. Outdoor living is exceptional, with an expansive 60x40 foot oceanfront terrace offering substantially more usable waterfront space than most homes on Neptune Avenue, ideal for entertaining or enjoying panoramic sunsets. The property is further enhanced by both a lower seawall and upper bluff retention system, valuable improvements rarely found together. Set back from the street, a private front lanai with a covered seating area and fireplace creates a welcoming outdoor living room, sheltered from both the street and coastal elements. Ideally located in the heart of Neptune Avenue, the home is just minutes from Beacons, Stone Steps, and Moonlight Beach, as well as the shops, restaurants, and cafés of downtown Encinitas. A rare opportunity to own one of Encinitas's premier oceanfront homes, offering exceptional volume, privacy, quality construction, and an irreplaceable coastal lifestyle. Buyer closed escrow and decided on a different property, post closing. The home is being resold at no fault of the property.

  • Erica Lerro
"The neighborhood is a mix of retired people and new families. It’s not as communal as other cities I’ve lived in with many people driving in and out of the community and then staying inside or in their backyard. The gates parks prohibit kids meeting there unless they belong to an association. It’s odd to see a gated park that children cannot play on , meet new kids that live across the street, etc. I’m used to larger cities where there are more public places to gather, meet your neighbors, and create a stronger community."
  • Tadie
"It's the best neighborhood I've lived to raise active, well-adjustef, wholesome kids. Schools all have a ton of activities and kids ride bikes everehere. "
  • Steven Biebel
"Encinitas Christmas parade, art walk, street fair, 4th of July parade and the moonlight beach is very welcoming. "
  • Tadie
"It’s the best place ever to raise a family. Kids can walk to elementary, middle and high school school. "
  • Captaing
"Leucadia Oaks Park is a meeting place for Neighbors. There is a skate park there the beaches only a short walk away."
  • Trulia User
"Great area and great schools. Some great parks and close to the beach. Great for being outside but the hills and lack of sidewalks in areas makes it less walkable than other areas. Package theft does happen and people don’t clean up after their pets well. The rent is also really high around here. "
  • Trulia User
"safe place fun and easy access great temperature and friendly and very clean great restaurant and plenty of parking if needed "
  • Trulia User
"Cardiff is a great place to live for everyone. Great restaurants and seaside market is amazing. The beaches are great too. "
  • Trulia User
"A lot of owners out here. Definetly a hot spot for pets. Not sure about pet parks however. Only see well maintained pets."
  • Trulia User
"I lived here for 7 years, very safe , people are super friendly, very family oriented, but since we have trailer in the back of our house we sometimes see dog poop in our front yard. "
  • Trulia User
