We moved here 8 years ago and while I agree with others that the town can be a bit cliquey, the school district itself is amazing. Small town values, A++ teachers. Supportive in the community.

This school is nothing but an academic and sport run school. If that’s for you then great. If you are any different or pose as a problem in any way they will make your life HELL. I just graduated. 2025 and over 13 and a 1/2 years of attending this school I have a lot to say..first I would like to acknowledge the fact that I had a note that I needed a service dog by my medical professionals. Yet their response was diabolical.. “we don’t think you need it”.. I fought for 2 years just to have my service dog with me for one year. Ontop of that you better get going on your senior project the day you get into high school cus it sounds fun until you learn that non of your ideas will get approved. Then at the last minute change to working for summer school, gets passed, and then told that if I do this project I can’t walk at graduation.. after multiple emails between my medical professionals and the superintendent it seems to go no where. GRADUATION IS THIS SUNDAY. I’m disappointed they took away such a big event for NOT ONLY ME but MY FAMILY. This school shows no support to mental health/ with the acceptation that we have a new social worker almost every year and can’t seem to keep one. TEACHERSWhile there are some good teachers there, many don’t seem to care for 504 plans as much as GED students. I had to fight for my rights to just leave a classroom to work in another room. They are also horrible at sub notes.. subs don’t know what they are doing and ask students to read off the notes and take attendance. (What is their job then?)Some even on their phones 24/7.Unfortunately many of the teachers get payed poorly while working there, when one town over you can make so much more.On the other hand many of the office workers, principal and other staff talk bad about students behind their back. While still at school this is not appropriate behavior especially if others can hear. The disrespect from some teachers to the point of screaming at their class when they were making jokes is also not okay and when reported nothing happens.. I should not hear a teacher her yelling from across the school every year all 4 years. Bullies stay under the radar and will somehow get away with it every time unless you speak up. Unless you are ready to advocate for basic human decency and rights to equal education, this school ain’t it.DO NOT GO TO SCHOOL HERE IT WILL DRAIN YOU.Perks- Small school (60 per grade)Just did new construction (wasn’t available this year) :):
