7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has been bullied a lot at the school and I've been told by the principal that "we need to be careful how we classify bullying" and then did nothing about it. When my child tries to bring something up, she's ignored or dismissed. The teachers start the bullying by making fun of kids and belittling pr shaming them and the other kids pick up on that. IMO. The guidance counselor is a gem who will help your child and give them emotional support and make them feel seen and heard. The school does have a lot of fun events and projects for the kids to work on so the learning and the community involvement is good.Parent Review10mo ago16 Reviews - Skyview High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a school that focuses heavily on their sports teams. It does a terrible job with special education. Don’t go here if you are on an IEP, they will not follow your accommodations. I would not recommend Skyview to anyone. They also allow discrimination of LGBTQIA+ students. The teachers are bigger bullies than some of the kids. In fact, a staff member tried to engage in road rage in the parking lot at dismissal (putting several students in danger by trying to run someone off the road.) and the administrators didn’t do anything about it. This school has some huge problems!Parent Review1y ago11 Reviews - Jefferson Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf I could give this school zero stars, I would. The bullying, lack of discipline, and disregard for student safety are alarming. During passing periods, there are 800+ students with only four adults monitoring the hallways, which is completely inadequate.Multiple students have reported that when fights break out, teachers often walk away instead of intervening. Disrespect toward teachers and students who are trying to learn is widespread, and classrooms are consistently loud and disruptive. The environment feels chaotic and out of control.Overall, the administration appears to lack accountability and urgency in addressing these issues. If you are looking for a school with frequent fights, unchecked bullying, and little discipline, Thomas Jefferson may be a fit—but families seeking a safe, structured learning environment should look elsewhere.Parent Review5mo ago17 Reviews - Check out schools near 515 153rd.

"It’s easy to commute to local market or Portland for shopping. Traffic on I-5 and I-205 mostly are bad during rush hour though."

"Beautiful neighborhood, well kept homes. Lots of sidewalks to walk your dog plus a receptacle for waste. "

"There are several nice parks in the area and nice sidewalks for being able to walk your dog a variety of places and a decent distance"

"Good place to live and quiet for the most part. Most people stay to themselves but it’s a good place to raise kids"

"I do not have a dog, but there is no dog park in the area. The backyards are small in the area. I see some people walking dogs, but as somebody that does not own any I wish the owners would pick up their dog mess! "

"-There are sooooo many rules that the HOA has listed. They do outside inspections like every month to make sure your house looks exactly how they want it to. VERY PICKY and you need to ask permission to do even the smallest things like trimming a bush that’s on your property. -nobody picks up after their dogs so it gets annoying when taking walks"

"There are so many parks and schools nearby to walk to and hangout. Also, unique from most suburbs, Felida has 4-5 restaurants within walking distance of most homes. If you can't walk to the nearby coffee shop, eatery, or tap house, it's less than a 5 min drive."

"I've lived in Felida for 40 years, one of two grown children moved back here, it is the best neighborhood in Vancouver. it has grown a lot, but is still close knit."

"It's about 10 min to the 5 or 205 in either direction. It's a close commute, but you can experience traffic during rush hour. "

"Longer than normal to hit the freeway or head out of the Salmon Creek bubble but this community is my home so I can deal with the speed bumps and school zones. "
