5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall there is not much to complain about. My kids are all almost done here and have made great memories and learned lots! They luckily (to my knowledge) weren't bullied, didn't get in fights or get beat up by any other kids. Great job teachers and staff at Bedford elementary school!!Parent Review6y ago5 Reviews - Oakley W. Best Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school has leaked personal information on two students to myself. I do not live in the united states, and my email has been used and I have been receiving private information for the past 3 months. After I contacted the school MULTIPLE times, underlining how much of a student safety issue this is, I have ceased to receive a response. I now know the full legal names of these students, where they live and their birthdates. Please do not send students to a school which carelessly gives out information.Other Review10mo ago11 Reviews - Pardee School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI personally went here for a year and probably the most welcoming place ever all the kids seem to get along and enjoy the environment this place feels like home when you step in all the staff is nice and good teaching probably the best i’ve seen and i’ve been to 3 different schools I hope this place gets the recognition it needs they put in a lot of work to become this good I can tell. Also amazing coaching staff they are creating basketball is good baseball is amazing wrestling program probably best i’ve seen ever and football seems to be building its way up also with Coach Slaughter great guy even better coach very inspiring and on top of his gameOther Review1y ago10 Reviews - Polk Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you & your child/children enjoy changing elementary schools every other year then this is the district for you. These elementary schools housing only 2 grades each are all overcrowded! Teachers aren't miracle workers they can only work with what they're dealt..Not mention lack of pay raises for them in at least 5 yrs according to an individual in the city council. I have 3 children who left Dearborn school district with great scores in all state testing to moving to this district..my 3 kids in Dearborn heights district currently with a large decrease in scoring & lack of motivation to do homework, to not even wanting to go school some days..its sad. Apparently, there is no say in anything relating to the school district or the way its ran by parents, or the actual tax payers (homeowners, actual city residents) so i am looking to send my children elsewhere.Parent Review9y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near 5116 W Point.

"Going downhill between crime rates and the rift raft moving in this way it’s time to move. The schools are not as well equipped or monitoring as they used to be plus it’s a school of choice also which brings in the rift raft. "

"They have leash laws in this City and also pick up laws. It's nice that people take their dogs over to the school yard and have them relive themselves on the nice grass under the shade trees where the students gather and sit there. "
