Neighborhood Description

Colony Point is in the farthest northern reaches of Hoffman Estates and is surrounded by the Village of Inverness. Houses are well-kept with diverse families. We looked all over the area and found a gem of a house and neighborhood. We are sad to leave.

    "Pretty quiet neighborhood. All of the original owners have aged out. Neighborhood is changing demographically quickly, and not for the better. Theft crimes are occasional but increasing as the demographics change. Many small homes and renters. Houses are close to each other so not a ton of privacy. Yards are on the larger side compared to nearby Schaumburg. "
