It is my first year at this school and I’m in an honors class. After all I think this school should get a decent rating. Sometimes I like the lessons that I learn but not all the time but it’s so far so good. The teachers here are caring, sweet, and supportive and help their students but they give out 6 or 7 assignments per day which is insane! And for every project we get, we only get like only one week or less than a week to finish them. I try my best to do them all after school and at home but then end up finishing them all at 11 or 12pm and that only leaves me with like 6 or 7 hours to sleep. One time while I was doing an essay, I didn’t go to bed until 2:40 am. I still manage to get to the bus on time before it leaves. So I think that to much homework is a major problem at Beatty and I think a little bit less would help us go to bed more early. Another thing that this school needs improvement is safety. There are like many bullies and gangsters here that just love to gossip, bully, and pretend to be popular when they are actually a bunch of big dumb losers. I also go to after school program but my bully since 3rd grade also attends it. One time she manipulated me into 2 big secrets of mine and exposed it with her popular girl group and some other girls that are not even a part of that group! I got so embarrassed I had to spend the day without crying until I got home. When I told the vice principal and my after school program teacher, they didn’t even think of punishing her! The only thing that they did was that they let her stop talking to me. THAT WAS ALL THEY DID!!!! Shouldn’t she get suspended or something. Don’t even think Beatty wants to deal with bullying and rumors. That is my main complaint about this school But overall this school is usually good and decent and that is for all that I have to say about it.

The teachers and support staff go above and beyond for the students at Emery. The parent group, EAGLES, is also committed to excellence for this awesome school.
