"This neighborhood is not on busy streets and doesn’t get a lot of traffic. So is safer for the children to play outside in the large yards. Quiet, friendly neighbors. Easy access to schools just down one street but far enough away from the noise and traffic. "
  • David V.
"This area is great for raising kids, this is because of the small, quite, family friendly community with great schools and parks, as well as sports courts (tennis, basketball, baseball, football, fishing, tracks, etc.) It is also close to places like Kingsville, Calallen, and Corpus Christi, Texas. There is a Texas A&M college near, navy base, USBP station, acquarium, USS Lexyngton, schlitterbahn, there is a construction of a new outlet, and shopping areas, etc."
  • john s.
"Bishop's country areas are generally safe, with many long-established families and individuals. Don't expect a city's amenities, such as a large selection of entertainment or restaurants in the area. However, nearby Kingsville and Corpus Christi provide most of what one could need/desire. The schools of Bishop are known for being far superior to other nearby schools. "
