6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are new to the area and my children went to a prestigious private school, so I was nervous initially, but this place is a hidden gem. The school is small and they manage their classrooms really well. The school boundaries have been changed, so there is a better mix of families and commitment from parents. They are big on growing the whole child socially and academically. My daughter loves her new school and how she gets rewarded for doing her best. This is an exceptional school and I couldn't be happier to send my daughter to Whittier! Bravo to the new principal and all the teachers!Parent Review5y ago - Sacajawea Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI currently work at Sacajawea middle school since November of 2014, to current. I have done so much for the school since I have been hired, met many teachers, people, students, coaches, parents.Mostly are nice people, fun to be around. I enjoyed working around all of them. There could be better situations for working at the school, including the management treatment which is terrible in terms of treating their custodians, and only wanting full control which really seems like slavery in away. The custodians do their best to make the school healthy and presentable for the public and yet they receive the least respect from the management which only cares about full control. We had few head custodians during the past years of my work, who only reflected what their managers wanted them to do, in 2016, the head custodian that worked at the school for over two years, she treated the custodians in a very unprofessional way, made our job as miserable as possible, later she resigned, currently they hired a new head custodian, who absolutely knows nothing about this job besides the fields mowing and snow plowing, he constantly interferes with our work. During the summer we start working from 6 in the morning until 2:30 in the afternoon. Last week I came to work as usual and shortly after he came and began yelling at me, and raised his voice in a bossy abusive way .I met with our school principal, and I was shocked that the principal supported him and his actions 100 percent. He told me that this is the way it’s supposed to be, and that the head custodian should treat us like that, and can do whatever he wants! He has full authority .In our school. There have been many custodians who went through the same treatment and later resigned. Honestly and apparently they cannot keep any custodians there, therefore we always have vacancies for custodians.Other Review3y ago - Bozeman High School

"Lots of green space and parks in easy walking distance from most neighborhoods. The town itself is very dog friendly, with well behaved pets being welcomed in most local businesses.
