  • Caitlin Conboy
"I love getting around Oceanside! Some of the roads could definitely use a little maintenance but it’s a great coastal town to get around."
  • megleckband
"It takes me 30 mins to drive to La Jolla during the week but it’s not a bad drive because there is an ocean view most of the way!"
  • Dslarson1983
"Most all of the neighbors have dogs, yet it’s a pretty quiet neighborhood. The neighbors are very friendly and pick up after their dogs. "
  • Vka410
"They would like that it’s a quiet neighborhood and they would not like the fact that there is no doggy park nearby, mini walking distance"
  • Cayle
"The entire commercial area is dog friendly. Almost every restaurant allows dogs. Some even give water and have dog menus. People know how to treat dogs and how they behave. There are a few dog parks that are well maintained. The river wall is a great dog friendly ride/walk. "
  • Maria P.
"Friendly laid back people live here and there are pretty beaches and some nice looking newer neighborhoods "
  • Maria P.
"It’s pretty safe and peaceful and these questions are a nuisance and the weather is lovely and it’s also pretty boring"
  • Carmen S.
"Sunset market, great food scene, Boardwalk front and pier, lots of great outdoor activities, too many to name"
  • Maria P.
"Moderate traffic to get around to most places. Friendly drivers on the road. It’s much nicer than LA"
  • Eallenmar
"I’ve lived in this area my entire life, and am very glad to see the recent influx of restaurants and development while still catering to our roots."
  • Maria P.
"Nothing goes on in this neighborhood. Oceanside has a very limited range of activities to enjoy and very few good restaurants. I travel south to Carlsbad and Encinitas for most activities and shopping"
  • Shelise777
"Wonderful area! Everything is well maintained and people are all very nice and friendly — plenty to do and see and there’s the beach which is a huge bonus! There are plenty of restaurants and shopping and convenient locations with plenty of parking. "
  • Missi L.
"The schools have low grades on third party rating sites. Parent involvement is one of the best/easiest ways to support our kids and schools."
  • Gracie L. F.
"During the day there are other dogs barking. Also as you walk around the neighborhood, dogs bark at each house as you pass. "
  • Richard C.
"It’s a pretty safe neighborhood that’s not too far to the beach. Neighbors tend to say hi and know many by name. "
  • Itisme1000
"This is a cute neighborhood of historic homes and it keeps getting better and better. The people are nice and there are many shopping options and good schools in the area"
  • Pj E.
"All the houses are different, many with decent sized yards and fun landscaping. We are a sleepy little neighborhood with a fun feel and many ocean views."
  • Pj E.
"Unique homes with nice space, fun landscaping and a relaxed laidback feel. Feels safer than other Oside neighborhoods "
  • JBRILLANT
"Frazier Farms Natural Grocery store just moved in on Oceanside Blvd. which is testament to how the area is improving. The Sprinter station is right down the street, and the City has done a lot to improve the Aesthetics of Oceanside Blvd. "
  • alamoana9
"Close to beach, downtown Oceanside, great biking trails, great ocean and backcountry views"
  • josephmcleary
"Close to the beach, very temperate weather"
