I’m heart broken that my daughter has to go to this school. It’s straight chaos. I’m not sure if they have a principal or it’s the vice principal, but she needs to go, respectfully, she does not know what she’s doing. Also, my daughters classes this year are so packed with kids that don’t speak any English, they have no idea what is going on so they distract everyone messing around and it’s so unfair to students that are trying to learn and to them because they aren’t learning that way either. Her teachers act like they don’t want to be there and helping a student is such a problem for them, the sports are coached by people who have never done the sport they are coaching, it’s a mess. Something needs to be done as a whole in this school. The education is at the bottom of the totem poll.

My child attended this school since the 1st grade trough 5th, there has been only one exceptional teacher Ms. Williams, The school has not provided a safe environment in PE my child has been injured repeatedly to the head and face every year multiple times. I have even had to speak to the assistant principal. This year alone he has gotten hurt multiple times, he was sent to the hospital for a head injury . My child is a loving ,sweet respectful child and well behaved and is being punished by a way of threatening 3 Strike rule for simple incidents like talking to ban children that get 3 X from a fieldtrip due to safety measure which is being utilized in extreme measures and is a way of Negative Discipline. Some teachers are abusing the system and it is detrimental to the child's self esteem and emotional being. Banning kids for only minor incidents like talking in class (during group settings) to say the least is expected. Threatening to not go on the field trip and getting marked with an X on their SBR is poor education disciplinary action and is a way of threatening the child. Do not expect them to be adults, all children will all have to be corrected repeatedly they are growing up. They should be rewarded for their efforts and graduating elementary. They learn from positive reward not punishment. Taking a way something they desire and deserve is Negative punishment. Do not do group setting if you want to prevent this from occurring. They are being threatened to be marked with and X just for talking and sending them home feeling rejected. Not to mention my son is a gifted student who is very bright and the teacher is condescending by saying he is gifted and expects more from him. Devaluating his abilities.Not to mention, the school in all the years has only had 4 field trips. They also do father and son activities and I only heard of one mother son dance. What about single moms and only one talent show for x-mas was ever done.
