"I have been staying in this area over a month now and I love it. It is closer to our jobs and restaurants.my family feels safe and thats what matters most. "
  • Maura.celik
"I just moved here and everyone is friendly. I feel safe and have not seen much crime. There are many parks."
  • Kaitlyn.stroud
"It takes about 15 minutes to get across town. Got to be careful though, people love to run red lights. "
  • Anicole1715
"I have to drive anywhere I want to go. We do have public transportation but it is not free & has to be scheduled ahead of time."
  • Tony
"no youth activities, no public transportation. People are leaving this town in droves. Have to admit that the crime rate is getting better."
  • Anthony R.
"you have some pet owners that are responsible for their pets, but on the other hand, I have see some pet owners intentionally let their pets use other peoples property without any attempt to clean up behind their pets."
  • Carmel R.
"It is a nice area, but it is a bit close to the highway.. I have seen an owner or resident walking their dog, but that was a time ago. Now dogs just stay tied up. "
  • E.
"ypu need a car where I live and it would make a great difference and a safer way of driving if they had street lights, because it gets too dark at night where you can't even see anything ."
  • Krystle E.
"KINSTON is very pet friendly with a large dog park and the city's downtown has lots of parking and sidewalks. most of the hotels are pet friendly."
  • Linda R.
"We've lived here in our neighborhood for close to 16 year and have enjoyed it. But I think that along with anything else, it's time to move on. I would love to live in the county."
  • Linda R.
"my neighborhood has nothing to offer, the area is getting worse by the year. That is why I am trying to leave."
  • Armintajjackson
"I’ve lived her for 14 years and I love the neighbor hood. It is very quite and neighbors are friendly except one and she is very rich. "
  • wshiiidds
"Vibrant downtown renaissance offers fine dining while retaining small town charm and character and affordable cost of living."
  • bigsargee6
"Beautiful, lush area to live in. Big front and back yards. Upper middle class with lotss of retirees. BUT... if you are not known, or from out of state/town, neighbors tend to get uppity and look down your nose. White community with a sparse mixture of Bland and Hispanic that are "tolerated". Good Schools but none in walking distance. Gang activity surrounds the outskirts of this area but police patrols are often seen along the streets. Nice place to live, with tremendously high Utility Bills."
  • Doobilie
"We have lived here for 12 years, and LOVED it! We are conveniently located in the center of town. Close to churches, golf course, schools, shopping and parks. The neighborhood is wonderful! All the conveniences you could want. Outstanding area to walk and bike! Great place to live!"
  • Radonna M.
"Have lived in this neighborhood for 8 years. Very private, a lot of homeowners enjoy walking in the neighborhood. No traffic . Beautiful tree lined streets when azaleas are in bloom. One of the best neighborhoods in Kinston and definitely for the current prices."
