As an anonymous graduate, I'd give Blade a 3/10. I do not recommend going there nor do I recommend sending your child there. It looks like a five floor prison inside and out. Mean, academically underprepared, incompetent students and unwilling, incomprehensible, and often times ridiculous staff both teacher and assistant principal. They attempt to reach out to families for meetings but they do it hours before said meeting and giving little time and options to parents who are working or studying. Blade is constantly under prepared and the students suffer because of their lack of organization. Because of this, I did not get a senior trip. Not to mention all of the fundraising is because of their lack of readiness and insanely overpriced. We had a fundraising for our senior package two years after all of the other schools in our neighbouring counties. Despite raising hundreds of dollars, I still had to pay for a senior package that included lackluster merchandise. It cost ~170 for that when I expected much more. The security for Blade is ridiculous. Giving attention to students wandering the hall than through metal detectors and giving attention to students who they are comfortable with knowing they should be in class. If anything, they are encouraging them to skip.

Honestly, I recomend this school 100%! This school provides the dicipline that children need to adapt to at an early age to ensure self-decipline when they grow. This school also does an astonishing job at providing and equal education for kids at lower, and higher learning pastes. And, this school also helps with adapting to new languges. Once I knew one student who could not speak nor understand english in the 1st grade. However, by the time he was in middle 2nd grade, he could speak english fluently. I myself was shocked! Teachers in this school are 100% against discrimination, prejudice and racism and staff take it VERY seriously aswell. And, Staff do an outstanding job making sure your child has the transportation to come in and out of school. Looking for a school were your child can feel accepted? Rogers heights is the place!

I used to be former Student Over there at William Wirt Middle School. Overall its an amazing school! Got to see many new experience, this school was very fun at my Middle School time. Teacher were so chill and nice and teached very well, they made everything in a productive way. Got to go on many field trips and also celebrated alot of things. Ms. Similey was a principle that always wanted to see her students have a smile on there face and always want them to have a good time, same goes to the assitance principles. Overall an amazing school very productive, very safe, and very encourage. I recommend alot this Middle School, they well make you feel welcomed.
