4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSul Ross Middle School has been one of the most disappointing and concerning school environments I have encountered. Bullying is routinely ignored, and students are allowed to fight outside classrooms with little to no consequence. There is a clear lack of enforcement when it comes to behavior, discipline, and student safety.Teachers and staff appear overwhelmed or indifferent, and meaningful action is rarely taken even after repeated incidents. My child has been attacked multiple times, yet the school failed to hold the responsible students accountable. This sends a dangerous message that bullying and violence are tolerated.Security measures are extremely lacking. There should be stricter supervision, enforcement of dress code, and bag inspections at entry, similar to what is done in other secure facilities. Cameras should be present in hallways and classrooms to ensure transparency and accountability.Leadership is also a major concern. The administration has not demonstrated urgency or commitment to protecting students. A safe learning environment starts at the top, and unfortunately, that is not what is being provided here.Children deserve to feel safe at school. "The neighbors are quiet but friendly and we all watch out for one another. Wildlife such as skunks, opossum, deer and raccoons have all passed through without causing any destruction. It's a nice community to live in."

"There are groups of deer that come out at night and occasionally daily and roam the neighborhoods. Its always cool to see them. You can walk to the library or the park and they also have a farmers market at the library once a week."

"This area seems to be alot more seculded and private than alot in this area code. Alot of people are home during the day which is nice, alot of teachers as well as medical professionals live in this area. This home is in the back of this little area, total privacy, windows look out on beautiful mature landscape or trees. Very Private. The neighbors are great too. Is a great place to walk if you like to get out. great sidewalks. It is security patrolled as well."
